1. Ginger : 100 grams
2. Green chillies : 6-8
3. Coconut : 1/4 (grated)
4. Curd : 2 cups
5. Salt : to taste

For garnishing:
Coconut oil : 1 teaspoon
Mustaard seeds(sarason) : 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves : 2 strands

Method of preparation:

Clean and make pieces of ginger. Grind the coconut to a fine paste. Add ginger pieces and green chillies and grind to a coarse paste. In a frying pan heat the oil. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When the mustard seeds crackle, add the coconut-ginger paste, salt to taste and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from fire and transfer to serving dish. .Add the curd to the mixture and mix well with a spoon. The dish is ready to serve.

Note: This typical Kerala dish is said to be equivalent to 100 vegetable dishes.
